Masami brings a holistic, thoughtful approach to fitness and wellness, grounded in both movement and mindfulness. She holds an MBA in International Business from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a BA in International Relations from the USC. Since becoming a certified trainer in 2021, Masami has made it her mission to help individuals improve flexibility, balance, and body awareness through mindful, functional movement.

With a background in competitive dance—jazz and hip hop—Masami developed a deep respect for stretching and mobility work early on. She brings that same intentionality to her group fitness classes, which include Stretch, Active Recovery, Dance, Barre, and Meditation. Whether leading a high-energy session or a restorative class, she emphasizes the importance of building a resilient body through mental focus, coordination, and breath.

At Peninsula Health Care District Health & Fitness Center, you can find her teaching a variety of classes such as Deep Stretch, Barre, Strength, Pilates, and many more!
